Mack Howard completed 22 of 30 passes for 335 yards and 5 touchdowns Friday night to lead the Heritage Academy football team to a 41-15 victory over East Union in Blue Springs.
Luke Fisher, Trey Naugher and Mitchell Woodard each caught a TD pass for Heritage Academy (3-0), which has scored 122 points in its three games.
Howard also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown for the Patriots (3-0), who will face Washington in Greenville this Friday. East Union is 0-2.
Oak Hill Academy 26, Winona Christian 23: Cameron Dill threw for 137 yards and a touchdown and ran for 122 yards and a score and Jake Glusenkamp rushed for two touchdowns as the Raiders scored all of their points during the first half in Winona.
Dill completed 12 of 18 passes, including five to Brian Buchanan and three to Gunter Reed. He hooked up with Conner Freeman on a 42-yard touchdown pass for Oak Hill (1-1).
Glusenkamp finished with 79 yards on 17 carries for the Raiders, who rushed for 201 yards.
Winona Christian trailed 26-15 at halftime.
Calhoun Academy 38, Columbus Christian Academy 2: An intentional grounding penalty on Calhoun called in the end zone resulted in a third-quarter safety for the only points the Rams scored in the game.
The Rams could do little against the Cougars (3-0). CCA quarterback Drake Shaw was just 2 of 5 for 18 yards, while Luke Phillips was 0 for 3 during the second half. Landon Townley rushed for 22 yards, with Caleb Farlow totaling 10 yards receiving and Jonah Harrison netting 8.
Townley and Luke Cook each had 5 tackles for the Rams (1-1).
CCA will host Kemper Academy on Friday night.
Canceled games: Starkville vs. West Point, Victory Christian vs. Evangel Christian and Noxubee County-Amanda Elzy were not played Friday night.
