STARKVILLE — Mississippi State forward Quinten Post has entered the transfer portal, a source confirmed to The Dispatch Wednesday.
Post, a 7-foot sophomore forward from the Netherlands, primarily came off the bench for the 2020-2021 Bulldogs and averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per night in 31 games with MSU. He had a career-high 10 points on Dec. 27 against Mississippi Valley State.
Post’s path to playing time in 2021-2022 became increasingly difficult to see after the additions of D.J. Jeffries and Garrison Brooks, along with the possible return of Abdul Ado and the presence of Javian Davis.
He becomes the third Bulldog to transfer, joining Deivon Smith and Keondre Montgomery.
