Registration for Columbus Soccer Organization’s 2021 adult soccer league will close Monday. Matches will begin in February at the downtown soccer complex.
The league is for any player, male or female, over 19 years of age at the time of registration. Players can register individually or indicate during the registration process that they are registering with a team. All teams are co-ed.
The registration fee is $70, which includes player registration, referee fees, team entry to the Friendly City Shootout in April and field set-up fees. Players and teams are responsible for purchasing and designing their own jerseys.
CSO adult soccer is played using small-sided rules. Matches are held on a U-12 sized field with seven players per side. Other modifications include open substitution, forbidding slide-tackling and no offside, making the game more accessible to players of all ages and playing levels.
