Watch out, Mia and Montana Davidson. Another pair of sisters from the Tar Heel State have joined the Mississippi State softball team.

On Tuesday, the Bulldogs announced the signings of Phoebe and Allison Florian, who hail from Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Phoebe played the 2020 season as a freshman at Auburn, appearing in 19 games for the Tigers primarily in pinch-hitting and pinch-running roles. She went 4 for 5 in stolen bases this spring.

Allison took graduate-level classes at Auburn this past fall after studying at Duke from 2017 to 2020. She has not yet played college softball after receiving a medical hardship waiver in 2018.

"We are excited to add Allison and Phoebe to the program and for the opportunity to bring them in before the spring semester," head coach Samantha Ricketts said in a news release from Mississippi State. "They both bring high-level experience to our team and will add depth in the infield and outfield, as well as speed and athleticism on the bases."

Phoebe will sit out the 2021 season as a transfer within the Southeastern Conference but will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.

Both Florians are listed as utility players on Mississippi State's 24-player 2021 roster.
