The Mississippi University for Women women’s soccer team netted three second-half goals Tuesday in less than 20 minutes to break a 1-1 halftime tie and beat Judson (Alabama) 4-1 at home.
The Owls (9-6-0) weathered a third-minute goal by Judson’s Camry Sturdivant, as Caroline Grafe equalized in the 44th minute.
Britain Welzien scored in the 52nd minute, Morgan Dennis scored in the 60th, and Mackenzie Ferrell scored in the 67th to quickly put the Owls ahead 4-1.
The W will host Talladega College at 4 p.m. Thursday.
