I was glad to see that readers wrote in correcting the letter by Jim Terry who said Sugar Ditch is in Greenville and that this city is the amputation capital of Mississippi. As for the amputations, no one knows this better than Dr. Pomphrey. However, anyone who thinks it’s a good thing that Kamala Harris visited, or even thinks she really cares about Mississippi or Greenville probably can’t be corrected in the first place. She was here strictly for a photo-op and to push the administration’s agenda. Period.
