I would like to remind the Republican voters of Oktibbeha and Noxubee counties of the congressional runoff set for June 28. Either set a reminder on your phone, or vote absentee if you plan to travel. You may vote in the runoff even if you did not vote in the primary.
Michael Guest is a proven conservative. His challenger has proposed $44.8 trillion dollars in welfare spending over the next 10 years and has recently removed these proposals from his campaign website. The sleight has been well documented by Mississippi Today. His challenger has also grossly convoluted the story on Guest’s voting record regarding the January 6th commission.
In my view, character and integrity still matter. The future of the Republican party will be upheld by leadership, not by muddying the water. Again, set that reminder on your phone. Let’s keep Michael Guest.
