Comments on presidency and roundabouts
Being positive is a trait that President Trump is good at. If the Republican party is the party of the privilege, then that includes me. I am privileged to be born in the greatest country in the world. If supporting the Second Amendment and not supporting abortion makes me an elitist, I guess I’m one. Abraham Lincoln “The Great Emancipator” freed the slaves. By the way he was a Republican. A little history lesson. The Democrats are the race-baiters today. I wished all would think “Make America Great Again” is a good thing. President Trump’s record speaks for itself. But if you listen to MSNBC, CNN and read only the left leaning papers, I see why you are so negative and don’t walk the walk. President Trump is not only walking the walk, he is talking the talk. It is proven by his accomplishments. That can’t be denied. You can woller in the woe-is-me syndrome if you want. I am going to enjoy America being great again. That light you see in the tunnel is the Trump train. Get aboard or get left behind.
To close, I totally agree with Tanner Imes in Sunday’s paper. The money being spent on the roundabout could be better spent other places. We’ve got a fire station and an amphitheater not completed plus infrastructure items in the city that is in need of repair. It’s about priorities I guess.
God Bless America.
