‘Thank you’ to Lollar
Lee Roy Lollar wrote another letter on October 16th detailing some developments at a recent Columbus City Council meeting – regarding finances and the awarding of a contract. He, as he so often does, provided updates and critical commentary on what he observed at that meeting. I have long wanted to thank Mr. Lollar for his efforts in keeping an eye on what is happening in our city. From what I can tell from his letters, Lollar attends most if not all city council meetings. That, in itself, is impressive. But Lollar goes much further by not only doing additional research but also taking the time to summarize what he has learned for letters that he then sends to The Dispatch — so, most importantly, the rest of us will know and benefit. I am grateful for your efforts, sir, and I should be more like you when it comes to helping push our city to stay on track and become better still. Thank you.
