I am really shocked by your recent editorial slamming the new owner of the Leigh Mall.
This is the second editorial you have done criticizing the developer. It’s really disturbing.
In the past, The Dispatch was more in-line with the Chamber of Commerce: welcoming new businesses and promoting good investors in our community.
Why oh why are you insulting a man/corporation that is taking the risk to use their money to salvage what had become an albatross in our town.
Malls are out-of-fashion and slowly dying in our country and are a risky investment for anyone.
And then, the name…what business is it of yours to tell someone what to name their company or ridicule the name they choose?
There are several successful and popular enterprises and locations with similar names; Park Place, Jackson Place, Summer Place….
Please stop this destructive content in “our” paper.
