John Rankin played at the RAC Friday night to a rather full house.
He is an amazing musician/songwriter from New Orleans, and tonight he brought New Orleans to Columbus!
After Beverly Norris died, I was afraid that we wouldn’t have the same caliber of concerts at the RAC. Thanks to David Sanders who met John Rankin in New Orleans and invited him and sponsored him to perform for us, we were treated to a “Beverly worthy” event.
I’m sorry that more people don’t take advantage of the events that take place in Columbus. This event should have been promoted and coordinated with the Pilgrimage. I can’t think of a better way to showcase our town to tourists than to show them the quality of musical entertainment that is available here in addition to the beautiful homes.
