I have come to understand that the $700,000 the City has received from internet sales tax must be spent on road projects. That doesn’t mean that $330,000 has to be spent on the proposed 5th Street project with its narrowing of the street, adding bike lanes, and slowing traffic. I’m sure there are other road projects that would be more appropriate and more beneficial for the city and its people.
