I was saddened to see Peggy Cantalou’s obituary in the paper yesterday. She was an amazing person who was always warm and welcoming.
I just wanted to mention that one of her claims to fame was serving on the first Justice Court jury in Lowndes County that allowed women jurors in 1966.
