o me, Trent Kelly committed the unpardonable sin in politics when he voted to overturn the election because of the “big lie.”
My vote was useless in the eyes and heart of Trent Kelly.
Indivisible Northeast Mississippi, at the time, asked Kelly and Hyde-Smith to resign because of their attempt to overthrow the election by voting against democracy.
I personally don’t want to hear anything he has to say.
Kelly on immigration, blah, blah, blah, but you don’t get to come here illegally and you just don’t get to come and stay because you want to.
Does this include the 11 million that are still here that Trump said in his campaign, if elected president, would send them back to where they came from?
The Governor of Texas sends the National Guard to help the border patrol keep the immigrants out, and at last count, there are over 800,000 illegal immigrants working in his state.
Kelly says immigration is a complex issue.
It’s more about the Republicans making a political issue out of it than trying to solve it.
The reason we have an immigration problem is because of our American businesses.
For years, they have been hiring them because they can pay them pennies on the dollar compared to American workers and abuse them at the same time.
If they didn’t hire them, they wouldn’t come.
It should be a law that E-Verify be used by all the states, and enforced, in hiring as our U.S. government does, as it identifies if an immigrant is undocumented.
It is unlawful to hire an undocumented immigrant.
Reader Anne Burkart wrote a letter voicing her dissatisfaction with Senator Wicker’s voting record.
Of the politicians named from states that you are jealous of, I think Wicker was the only one who voted to certify the election for Joe Biden.
I would thank him for standing up for democracy.
