Thinks effort to impeach is misguided
Big vote on the Hill yesterday in DC plainly showing the attempt to impeach a former President is shot down even before taking off.
Five so called Republicans — Susan Collins, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Ben Sasse and Pat Toomey — voted with the Democrats saying it is Constitutional to impeach a President who is no longer in office. A fifth grader is smarter than all those who say that. Every dang one of them needs to be asked to show the American people exactly where it says that in our Constitution. Senator Paul hit a home run with this vote, even got old Mitch to get his head out, and showed the Democrats and the five RINOs that they are making fools of themselves if they continue down this path. Plus every dang one of them knows that they need 17 Republicans to vote for impeachment in a trial or else suffer another defeat in their attacks on President Trump. Big difference in five and 17, plus some Democrats will probably vote against impeachment if they do go to trial, seeing that mid term is right around the corner, one year and 9 months.
Guess we ought to thank them though cause it actually helps the Trumpsters MAGA movement. I think too that President Trump’s campaign for ’24 is being started by the deranged Democrats while he enjoys some well earned R&R.
