Commends local vaccination process
I wanted to commend the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Lowndes County branch of same, along with the Fairview Baptist Church, for their combined efforts in organizing an extraordinarily efficient vaccination operation. I was fortunate enough to be able to make an appointment for Monday. What I encountered when I got there was a very well-organized and tightly run operation in which I arrived at 3:35 for a 3:40 appointment and was checked in, vaccinated, completed the 15-minute post-vaccination waiting period, and was driving away at 4:03. I want to also thank the many pleasant and helpful members of the Mississippi National Guard present to make this system work so well. It really could not have been any easier short of sending a limo to fetch me at home. My hat is off to all involved! Mission accomplished and job extremely well done!
I hope as many people as possible will take advantage of this great opportunity to help our city and the local economy. But I’ll keep wearing my mask as long as necessary.
