Re: Sportsplex land. I don”t see a rich verses poor plot, however, I think the Country Club is looking for a “bail out.” If golf was booming, there is no way they would offer that property for sale. Some people”s comments made it sound as though the Country Club was doing something magnanimous by offering the property. If they want to make a gift of the land then I will be very impressed.
As far as the property itself, it is a nice looking piece of property. The location is on a narrow bottle-necked highway, headed out of town. It basically has one way in. Instead of one way in, at least the Burns Bottom location has several points of access from 45 (Fifth Street) and easy access from Highways 82 and 182.
