BROOKSVILLE — Willie Pearl Taylor, 61, died June 11, 2009, in Brooksville at Oktibbeha County Hospital. Services are Tuesday at noon at the Second Baptist M.B. Church in Brooksville with Terry Franklin and Khristy Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Samuel Cemetery in Brooksville. Visitation will be today from noon-5 p.m. at the Lee-Sykes Funeral Home in Macon. Mrs. Taylor was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Brooksville to Caleb King Jr. and Ella Mae Malone. She was a former Mississippi University for Women cafeteria worker, caterer and homemaker. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Fred Taylor Jr.; daughters, Jannie Berrett, of Orlando, Fla., and Minister Lisa Silvers, of Brooksville; sons, Eddie Franklin, of Macon, David Franklin and Pastor Terry Franklin, both of Brooksville; brothers Albert Lee Gardner and Micah Roby, both of Brooksville; stepbrothers, Tommy Roby, of Macon, J.C. May, of New Orleans; stepsisters, Betty Edmonds, of Columbus, and Margaret Humphries, of Brooksville. Pallbearers will be all family and friends.
