COLUMBUS — Willie B. Buchanan Moore, 83, died Sept. 28, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church with the Rev. Donal Henry officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Century Hairston Funeral Home. Century Hairston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Moore was born March 5, 1935, in Columbus, to the late L.T. and Daisy Buchanan. She is survived by her sons, Joe Buchanan of Starkville, Andrew, Sammie, Jessie and Johnny Buchanan, all of Columbus and James Buchanan of Jackson; daughters, Emma Petty of Columbus and Rosie Collie of Southaven, Lena Thomas of Tampa, Florida and Collie Buchanan of Vernon, Alabama; and a host of grandchildren.
