COLUMBUS — Services for William Thomas Sr. will be from 2 p.m. Sunday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Siniki Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Thomas was born Dec. 16, 1940, to the late William and Rosie Kennedy Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Thomas and Willie Thomas; and sister, Mattie Gray. He is survived by his children, Theodis Williams of Topeka, Kansas, Willie Williams, Hilbert Williams, William Thomas Jr., Terrell Thomas and Tamiko Thomas, all of Columbus, and Siniki Thomas of Parsons, Kansas; and a host of grandchildren.
