COLUMBUS — Virginia Mae Saddler Porter, 63, died Feb. 17, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Caledonia, with the Rev. James Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Porter was born May 4, 1958, in Caledonia, to Catherine Saddler and the late Morris Saddler. She was formerly employed as a cook at Ranch House Restaurant and was a member of Bethlehem M.B. Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Porter.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Kentrail Saddler, Marcus Saddler, both of Columbus and Charlie Saddler of Pelham, Alabama; siblings, Julie Shirley, Morris Saddler, both of Columbus and Tommy Saddle of Caledonia.
