WEST POINT — Verell Curtis Davidson, 60, died Dec. 27, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today, at Strong Hill M.B. Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Harris officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation is from 10:30-11 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davidson was born Sept. 21, 1961, in West Point, to Idella Griffin Davidson and the late Curtis Alvin Davidson. He was formerly employed as a mechanic.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Minister Calvin Davidson; and one grandchild.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gladistine Davidson; children, Morris Deon McGee of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Natasha Burton of Pensacola, Florida, and Natalie S. McGee of West Point; siblings, Cedric Davidson, Jonathan Davidson, and Wanda Davidson; and six grandchildren.
