MACON — Tony “Tom Tom” Pippins, 36, died July 17, 2012, at Noxubee General Hospital. Services are Saturday at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny L. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellow Cemetery. Mr. Pippins was born May 28, 1976, to Edward and Katherine Pippins. He was a graduate of Noxubee County High School and a member of Macedonia MB Church. He was owner of Pip-N-Wing Barbeque Pit and Pippins Transportation. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Shaquanda Pippins of Macon; son, Tywus Pippins of Macon; stepdaughter, Diamond Price of Macon; sisters, Stephanie McCarthy, Kimberly McNeese, Tameka Johnson and Kenisha Pippins, all of Macon; and stepbrother, Kevin Stewart of Canton. Pallbearers are Johnny Prince, Cedrick Jones, Lonzell Jones, Brodrick Prince, Kendrick Smith, James Jones and Marcus Hines.
