AMORY — Tony W. Brown, 66, died Oct. 9, 2012, at his residence. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Brown was born May 16, 1946, to Belton Allen Brown and the late Novia O. Pennington. He was a graduate of Amory High School. He retired as tug boat crew member for Parker Towing. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Keith Pennington. Survivors include his father; sisters, Kathy West of Hamilton, Linda Vandiver of Smithville, Karen Pipkin of Amory and Brenda Weathersby of Caledonia; and brother, Jerry Brown of Amory.
