WEST POINT — Toby T. Tyler, 69, died Aug. 30, 2016, at Fayette Medical Longterm Care Center in Fayette, Alabama. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ben Yarber officiating. Burial will follow in Old Montpelier Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Tyler was born Dec. 22, 1946, to the late Paul and Annie B. Hunt Tyler. He was self-employed as a painter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Tyler of West Point; daughter, Tonia Denis McFalls of West Point; sons, Johnny Wayne Tyler of Steens, Toby Duane Tyler of Vernon, Alabama, and Tobi Drew Tyler of West Point; sisters, Ann Thompson of Petal, Pauline Stansfield of Lilburn, Georgia, and Dyann Hazlewood of Cedar Bluff; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Bob Tyler, Ernie Tyler, John Tyler, Matthew Duane Tyler, Noah Andrew Tyler and Felix Tyler.
