Mr. Timothy Davis, 66, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at his residence. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018, 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM memorial service at Canaan Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Avery officiating. Mr. Davis was born August 21, 1952, in Alexandria, LA, to the late Turner Davis and Lois Davis Hood. He was a member Canaan Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. Davis retired from L3 Technologies in 2015, after working 26 years as an Air Craft Mechanic. He was a jokester and known as “Mr. Fix-It”. Mr. Davis, along with his former co-workers, competed nationally and won numerous Aircraft mechanics competitions. He loved his family and was a devoted fan of his beloved MSU Bulldogs. He was especially fond of his friend and faithful companion, his dog, Bentley. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 29 years, Barbara Davis; daughters, Candi (Adam) Lux, Shelley (Teddy) Strickland and Tracey (Fred) McCaa; son, Grant (Amanda) Davis; father, Kenneth Hood; sister, Darlene Ballard; grandchildren, Logan Lux, Alexis Lux, Bianca (Brady) Howell, Kallie Harcrow, Kaitlyn Bester, TJ Davis, Malik Richardson, Cayden Davis, Jaxon Davis, Seth Swails, Devin Swails and Kara Beth Sides; and great-grandchildren, Collin Howell, Lillie Howell and Kylie Wilder.
