VERONA — Tavaris Lashawn Shelton, 15, died June 6, 2009, at the Tombigbee River. Services are Tuesday at 1:30 at Plantersville Middle School Gym with the Rev. Darrell Tate officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Aberdeen. Belle Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jessie Mae Walker. He is survived by his father, Michael Walker; mother, Shalonda Hardin; brothers, Brandon, Michael and Cameron Walker; sisters, Makala and Keitashia Shelton of Verona, and Jalisa and Makaila Walker, both of Aberdeen.
