COLUMBUS — Susie Marie Berry, 87, died Nov. 29, 2012, at Arrington Place. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Ray Branch and the Rev. Joseph Carothers officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Wilkerson County. Visitation is two hours prior to services. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Berry was born July 2, 1925, to the late Bertha Johns and Charles Samuel Lassley. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Berry Sr.; four brothers; two sisters; and a grandchild. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Flick of Laurel and Rebecca Holder of Madison; sons, George T. Berry Jr., of West Point; sister, Josephine Williams of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers are John Dale, Paul Arnold, Dr. Jennings Owens, Charlie Conova and Shep Crawford. Memorials may be made to Palmer Home for Children, P.O. Box 746, Columbus, MS 39701.
