VERNON, Ala. — Annie Sue Jackson, 77, died Dec. 30, 2017, at her residence. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Cook and James Godsey officiating. Burial followed in Wofford Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to services. Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jackson was born Nov. 3, 1940, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Clovis and Odell Flynn. She was formerly employed with Wee Wisdom Day Care. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Polly Veal. She is survived by her husband, Roland Jackson of Vernon; three daughters, Susie Hollis and Gina Keebler, both of Vernon, and Lisa Bush of Winfield; one son, Dwayne Jackson of Vernon; two brothers, Rayburn Flynn and Donald Flynn; seven sisters, Dean Blaylock, Gaye Hester, Judy Hall, Virginia Carruth, Phyllis Robison, Carolyn Bookout and Debbie Blaylock; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
