MONROE COUNTY – Stephen Dale Pruitt, 63, died Jan. 28, 2021, in Monroe County. Graveside services are 2 p.m. today at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery with James Clardy officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements. Mr. Pruitt was born on March 11, 1957, in Aberdeen to the late Ralph Wayne and Helen Ann Dodd Pruitt. He attended Aberdeen High School and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1976. He enlisted in the Mississippi Army National Guard and retired as Captain. Stephen was formerly employed as a machinist, He is survived by his son, Casey Pruitt of Hamilton; brothers, Lamar Pruitt and Wayne Pruitt, both of Aberdeen; and one grandson.
