COLUMBUS – Stace Earl Doughty, 58, died Dec. 21, 2020, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Doughty was born Aug. 18, 1962, in Columbus, to Martha Doughty and the late Sam Doughty Jr. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was formerly employed as a truck driver with Montana Farms. He was a member of Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sydney Doughty. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Jordan Doughty of Columbus; children, Stacy Hilario and Anstacia Doughty, both of Columbus; siblings, Sammie Doughty, Gary Doughty, Dwight Doughty, Jennifer Washington, and Sheresa Edwards, all of Columbus, Calvin Doughty of Jackson, and Aljamar Carter of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and one grandchild.
