PHEBA — Sara Jo Forrester, 77, died March 21, 2023, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Pheba Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Pheba Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Forrester was born on July 29, 1945, in Una, to the late Woodrow and Ivodale McLemore. She was formerly employed by Monte Glove and owned her own beauty shop. She was a member of Pheba Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marnie Hill and Sandra Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Allen Forrester of Pheba; children, Nancy Wall of Starkville, Sandy Garner of West Point, Keith Blansett of Pheba and David W. Blansett of London, Kentucky; brother, Lexie Wiggins of Starkville; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Trey Wall, J.C. Wall, Cliff Wall, John David Blansett, Mike Hill and Sam White.
