MILLPORT, Ala. —- Sara T. Deloach, 70, died May 7, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center —-Tupelo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Olive M.B. Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Deloach was born on August 21, 1952, in Millport, to the late Bailous and Mary Lou Trimuel. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a graduate of Steven D. Lee High School and also attended Mississippi University for Women. She was a former member of the local NAACP as well as being a campaign manager.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Truenetta Johnson, Johnnie Mae Hill, Gammon Trimuel and Bailous Trimuel Jr.
She is survived by her children, Latounya Smith, Roy Trimuel; siblings, Susie Webber, Bobbie Jean Cooper, Winston Trimuel; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
