KOSCIUSKO — Samuel Swan McReynolds, 77, died March 3, 2019, at the Martha Jo Leslie State Veterans Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Phillip J. Palmertree officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday and from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday prior to services at the church. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. McReynolds was born June 1, 1941, in Starkville, to the late James Marion McReynolds and Mary Pauline Swan McReynolds. He was a 1959 graduate of Starkville High School and a 1963 and 1966 graduate of Mississippi State University. He was formerly employed with Mississippi Chemical Corporation in Yazoo City and Coldwell Banker S.R.E. Realtors. He was also co-owner and manager of Farm Services, Inc. and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Coburn; sister, Sarah Felicia McReynolds. He is survived by his daughter, Pauline McReynolds Stone of Charlotte, North Carolina; son, Frank Sage McReynolds of Ocean Springs; brothers, James Marion McReynolds Jr., John Thomas McReynolds and Charles Fletcher McReynolds; and two grandchildren.
