WEST POINT — Sammie Lee Bland, 50, died Oct. 22, 2012, at his residence. Services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel with the Rev. Willie Dale officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. Mr. Bland was born April 11, 1962, to Mary Lee McNeil of West Point and the late Woodrow McNeil Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Woodrow McNeil.
