MABEN — Ruth Yeatman Bell died Jan. 10, 2018, at Carrington Nursing Center. Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Burial will follow at Clear Springs Primitive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Yeatman was born in Maben on Feb. 28, 1934, to the late Gen. Lee and Edna Mae Yeatman of Maben. She was formerly employed by Wal-Mart in Starkville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Bell; and brothers, Gerald Yeatman and Glenn Yeatman, all of Maben. She is survived by her son, Reggie Bell of Brandon; brother, Herbert Lee Yeatman of Orlando, Florida; sister, Frances Aldridge of Maben; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Keith Kinard, Glen Ledbetter, David Kinard, Randall Yeatman, Wayne Yeatman and Bo Yeatman.
