WEST POINT — Ruby Faye Stafford, 79, died Oct. 20, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Earl Parker and David Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Calvert Funeral Home. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stafford was born April 2, 1939, in Aberdeen, to the late James Arthur and Francis Lucille McKenzie Parker. She was formerly employed as a department manager at Walmart. She is survived by her daughters, Debra McCarter of Pheba, Sheila Tennyson of Eupora and Lee Melcher of West Point; son, Edward Andrew “Andy” Redmond Jr. of Rogersville, Tennessee; fiancé, M.C. Pate of Columbus; sister, Martha Hulsey of Mathiston; brothers, Dr. James Earl Parker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Arthur Parker of Montpelier, Eugene Parker of Vernon, Alabama, Dr. Aaron Parker of Laurel, David Parker of D’Lo and Hurbert Parker of Prentiss; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Redmond, Justin Redmond, Clay McCarter, Joey Sellars, Travis Fulgham, Sebastian Vasquez, Ken Pennington and Eddie Harpole.
