COLUMBUS — Roy Edward Grubb Jr., 83, died Oct. 25, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Mr. Grubb was born July 30, 1934, to the late Roy B. Grubb Sr. and Gladys Irene Frankenberry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Owens Grubb of Steens; daughters, Sylvia Harbe and Bertha Helm; sons, J.R. Grubb, Michael Phillips and Robert Grubb; sisters, Peggy Myers and Mary Lou Clarke; and brother, Donnie Grubb; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
