COLUMBUS — Ronald Dale “Ronnie” Heranney, 64, died Sept. 7, 2016, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hollandale Baptist Church with Shawn Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Hollandale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point and from 1-2 p.m. at Hollandale Baptist Church. Mr. Heranney was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Arcola to Katherine Williams and Joseph Heranney. He was the owner of RDH Custom Homes. He attended Hollandale High School and graduated from Humphrey’s Academy in Belzoni. He was a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Susan McPherson Heranney of Columbus; daughter, Tricia H. Spiers of Hattiesburg; son, Scott Parker Heranney of Edmund, Oklahoma; step-daughters, Beverly Wells of Moseley, Virginia, and Victoria DeSantis of Nashville, Tennessee; step-son, Michael Thomas of Marietta, Georgia; sister, Linda White of Vincent, Alabama; brothers, Joe Heranney Jr. of Lebannon, Virginia, and Audie Heranney of Hollandale; and two granddaughters. Pallbearers will be Lee Lawler, Tommy Williams, Brian Williams, Bunky Winters, Robert Earl Bagley, Jimmy Garrett and Cousie Giglio.
