STARKVILLE — Robert Shelton Brand Sr., 57, died Feb. 28, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Calvert Funeral Home. Burial will be at sea by the United States Navy. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brand was born May 2, 1964, in West Point, to Paul Bertram “Bert” Brand and the late Jane W. (Ballard) Sizemore. He was a graduate of West Point High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed as an over-the-road truck driver.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Trull of West Point; sons, Robert “Robbie” Shelton Brand Jr., Michael Brand, both of Laurel and James Brand of Fulton; sister, Lazelle Brand of West Point; and brother, Ricky Brand of West Point; and three grandchildren.
