Robbie Traywick, 77, died March 11, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Sunday at 4 p.m. at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home Chapel in Columbus with the Revs. Charles Young and Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Traywick was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Alexander City, Ala., to the late Frank and Thelma Peters Smith. She retired as a seamstress from Seminole Manufacturing after 30 years and also worked in food service at Franklin Academy for 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Traywick of Columbus; sons, Frankie Traywick of Caledonia, George Traywick of Vernon, Ala., Eddie Traywick of Odessa, Texas, and James and Bobby Traywick, both of Columbus; daughter, Linda Beard of Steens; sisters, Estelle Ward of Nashville, Tenn., Betty Alexander of Alexander City, Ala., and Oma Jean Cain of Dallas, Ga.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Jr. and Richard Rast, Justin and David James, David and Eric Traywick, Wade Beard and Brandon Bigham. Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 115 Highway 12 W., Starkville, MS 39759..a
