WEST POINT — Rebecca Jo Phyfer, 87, died March 26, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point. Graveside services are today at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Don Bishop officiating. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Phyfer was born Jan. 16, 1923, in Pontotoc to the late Pearl Patterson and James Cyrus Sneed Sr. She was co-owner of Phyfer Furniture Co. in West Point. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Point, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the West Point Garden Club and West Point Junior Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Portera and Carolyn Jane Hay, both of West Point; sons, Harry Phyfer, of West Point, and Cy Phyfer, of Plano, Texas; and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 293, West Point, MS 39773; or Bryan Public Library, P.O.
