Patricia Ann Mixon Flowers, 71, of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Friday, November 30, 2018, at 12:00 PM at Zion Assembly Church of God, Columbus, MS with Bro. Byron Harris officiating. Mrs. Flowers was born November 27, 1947, to the late Frank Clifford and Dorothy Tatum Mixon, in Frisco City, AL. She was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God and loved to volunteer for everything at church. In Caledonia, Mrs. Flowers was known as Nanny. She helped everyone, regardless of their circumstances/no questions asked. Soft-spoken and a good listener, Mrs. Flowers was nonjudgmental and put her heart into everything she did. Mrs. Flowers was very hardworking and was an owner of her cleaning business for over 40 years. Mrs. Flowers is survived by her mother, Dorothy Tatum Pierce, Columbus, MS; daughters, Lisa (David) Turner, Southaven, MS, Daphne Flowers, Columbus, MS and Christal Flowers, Caledonia, MS; son, Tommy (Anita) Flowers, Columbus, MS; grandchildren, Brittany (Luke) Fairley, Dakota (Jessica) Flowers, Corey (Brooke) Hall, Peyton (Tyler) Phelps, Josh Turner, John Turner and Cheyenne Flowers; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Parkes, Paisley, Piper and Jay Zachary. Pallbearers will be Luke Fairley, David Turner, Dakota Flowers, Corey Hall, Tyler Phelps, Josh Turner, John Turner and Tommy Flowers.
