LONGVIEW — Odie Freshour Jr., 82, died Jan. 24, 2018, at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He was formerly employed as a plumber with the Physical Plant at Mississippi State University and a member of Longview Baptist Church. He formerly served with the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie Freshour Sr. and Willie Maud Ellis; two sisters; and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Ann Freshour of Starkville; daughter, Melissa Freshour Evans of Kosciusko; son, Larry Freshour of Starkville; and three granchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, P.O.
