COLUMBUS — Louiseanner “Bam” Harris-Hughes, 86, died Nov. 14, 2020, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Robert Bowers officiating. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harris-Hughes was born Dec. 31, 1933, in Columbus, to the late Henderson Harris Sr. and Ethel Jones. She was formerly employed with M.U.W. and with Private Home Healthcare. She was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hughes; and siblings, Marshall Harris, James Earl Harris, Henderson Harris Jr. and Roosevelt Collins. She is survived by her siblings, Ollie James Harris, Jessie Harris, Arthur Harris, Woodrow Harris, MacArthur Harris, Margaret Harris Weston, Rosie Ann Turner and Karen Harris all of Columbus.
