MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Sgt. McKinley “Mack” Fields, 63, died Oct. 17, 2020, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Pleasant Ridge House of Worship Cemetery, with Michael Love officiating. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Sgt. Fields was born Jan. 20, 1957, in Crawford, to the late Andrew Sharp and Earnestine Fields Martin. He was a graduate of Motley High School and a sergeant in the United States Army. He was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Laderick Fields, Marcel Fields and Bernard Fields. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Diana Fields; children, Kimberly “James” Washington, Taraus Dowd, Sedric Fields, D’Coryan Fields, Tamia Fields and Ieasha Ma’Tee Brooks; siblings, Andrew Sharp Jr., Edward Fields, Carlton Fields, Alexander Fields, Jimmie Fields, Eunice Morris, Patricia Love, Gracie O’Neal and Shirley Staten; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
