HATLEY — Fred Melvin Webb, 86, died Sept. 14, 2020. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hatley Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Webb was born May 14, 1934, in Saltillo, to the late Mark and Florence White Webb. He attended Freed Hardeman University and Alabama Christian College. He was formerly employed as a preacher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Swindle and Donald Webb. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Freida Parham, Andra Parham, Becky Webb and James Webb all of Hatley; siblings, Joan Epperson of Saltillo and Kay Pope of Baldwyn; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Raymond Little, Bill Steverson, Mark Parham, Leslie Grant, Roy Lee Lindsey, Chris Parker and Eddie Comer.
