WEST POINT — Doris Marie McClain Danovsky, 71, died Feb. 17, 2020, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with James Towery officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Danovsky was born Aug. 17, 1948, in West Point, to the late John Edward and Ruby Sanders McClain. She attended Mississippi University for Women and was formerly employed with the City of West Point Water and Light Department. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of West Point. She is survived by her husband, Jack Danovsky of West Point; children, Ashley Henley, Brian Danovsky and Shane Danovsky all of West Point; brother, Larry McClain of Gulf Shores, Alabama; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Shane Danovsky, Brian Danovsky, Gage Hamburg, Drew Wright, Brody Wright, Logan Danovsky and David Henley.
