MACON — Charles Edward “Beady” Macon, 67, died Feb. 10, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Hopewell Baptist Church of Brooksville, with Edward Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery of Macon. Visitation is from 1-7 today, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Chapel of Macon. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Macon was born Dec. 22, 1952, in Noxubee County, to the late Rosie Mae Richardson and Henry Macon Sr. He was a graduate of Noxubee County High School and a member of Mt. Oliver Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Macon Jr. He is survived by, Mary Frances Macon of Macon; daughter, Amanda White-Garth; step-children, Derrick White and Marinda Carter; siblinings, Michael Thomas of Scooba, Catherine Walker, Ruy Macon-Stepter and Sharon Macon-Tate. Pallbearers will be Garfield Garth Jr., Carl White Jr, Van Duck, Burt Bonner, Terrance White and Grady Gilkey.
