AMORY — Danielle Renee Lindsey King, 45, died Feb. 12, 2020, in Monroe County. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home of Amory, with Kevin Cook and Leonard Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Crenshaw Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. King was born Nov. 29, 1974, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Carleen S. Dodd and the late David R.Lindsey. She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and Bevill State Community College. She was formerly employed in surgery, the emergency room and orthopedics at Gilmore Hospital in Amory. She was a member of Crossbound Church of Smithville. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mamie Johnson Creel, Robert H. Johnson, Leora Lindsey Smitherman and Berlie B. Lindsey. In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband, Mike King of Splunge; children, Conner King and Cade King; and brother, Chris Lindsey of Hazel Green, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Bobby Harper, Corey Glenn, Ted Odom, Todd Glenn, Tony Swan and Greg Norton.
